Tulive Financial Group (“Tulive”) is an established independent, Namibian financial service group licensed by Namibian Financial Institutions Supervisory Authority (NAMFISA) as a private equity for unlisted investments and fund manager for listed investments. The group has invested in both growth capital and business expertise in enterprises with solid development potential. The group has been mananging assets for more than five years. In addition to this, Tulive also offers corporate advisory services relating mainly to mergers and acquisitions, and identifying equity partners for investments, which are outside its mandate scope. Tulive is also regulated by NAMFISA to offer risk management and reinsurance brokerage services complete with being an approved Lloyds of London’s Insurance market Open Market Correspondent from Namibia. Tulive group is significantly owned by Mr. Iyaloo ya Nangolo, a Namibian from the previously disadvantaged group, and is the Managing Director of the company. It operates from Windhoek and currently has approximately 10 local employees.
Tulive’s senior management are experienced professionals with specialist skills. With the advantage of an international business perspective, they offer cost-effective solutions and implementation assistance, particularly to growing businesses. In addition, they provide management services, which include evaluation of business risks and development and implementation of policies and procedures to manage those risks.

Principle Partner: Iyaloo ya Nangolo is a founder partner of Jordaan Oosthuysen Nangolo Construction Cost Engineering and Management. In 2003, he was the first black Namibia to be registere as a professional Quantity Surveyor registered with the Councils of both South African Quantity Surveyors and Namibian Council for Architects and Quantity Surveyors (373, Namibia, and 3479 & 4335 RSA). He obtained his BSc. QS (Hons) degree in 2000 from the University of Cape Town in South Africa, he also holds a masters in Business administration (Finance and Entrepreneurship) from the Univeristy of Cape Town and the London Business School awarded in 2007 and is a member of the South African Institute for Quantity Surveyors and of the Namibian Association of Quantity Surveyors. He sits in the council of Architects and Quantity Surveyors of Namibia, and is a member of the board of Namibia Institute of Quantity Surveyors as well as the Executive Committee of Association of Africa Quantity Surveyors. Iyaloo has more than 15 years of extensive experience and expertise in project management, cost engineering, financial control, procurement and construction supervision of civil engineering and building projects, renovations to buildings and civil structures, weigh bridges, plants, facility management, township services, housing developments, prisons, magistrate court, colleges, shopping centers, industrial parks, schools, hospitals and mining projects in Namibia.

He is a professional Quantity Surveyor registered with the Councils of both South African Quantity Surveyors and Namibian Council for Architects and Quantity Surveyors (Reg. no.’s 1566 and 318). He obtained his BSc. QS (Hons) degree in 1980 from the University of the Freestate in South Africa and is a member of the South African Institute for Quantity Surveyors and of the Namibian Association Association of Quantity Surveyors. Ian has more than 30 years of extensive experience and expertise in project management, cost engineering, financial control, procurement and construction supervision of civil engineering and building projects, renovations to buildings and civil structures, weigh bridges, diamond processing plants, sewerage treatment facilities, township services, housing developments, prisons, magistrate court, colleges, shopping centers, industrial parks, schools, hospitals and mining projects in Namibia and South Africa.
Head of Operations:Michael, has a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) UNISA, Pretoria. He worked at Citibank t/a Citigroup in Johannesburg from January 2007 to June 2007 in the Electronic Banking industry, then moved to Standard Bank CIB offices in Centurion, Pretoria from July 2007 to February 2011. Transferred to Cape Town Standard Bank Head Office from February 2011 to August 2014. Been Head of Operations for Tulive Financial Group from 2014 till Present. Core Responsibilities
Actuary: is the actuary of the company. She obtained her BSc (Hons) Mathematics and Actuarial Science degree from the University of Leicester in the UK, in 2017. She currently is a member of the IFOa (Institute and Faculty of Actuaries) pursuing the title of (FIA) Fellow of the institute of Actuaries.
